Apps dont automatically add to desktop? only through ifunatastic

Hey all

Bit of a weird problem...

Im trying to remember if this happened or not but im sure, when i used to download a new program from apptapp (installer.app) on my iphone , that the icon and program automatically added itself to the desktop on the iphone automatically, I have since installed and used Ifuntastic and now everytime I download a program from installer I have to plug my iphone into my mac, start ifuntastic and then add the icon to the desktop (from the list of installed apps). It isnt too much trouble, But if im out and want to install a app from installer i cant use it until i get home and add the icon for it to the springboard!

Anyway around this? Looks like ifuntastis has taken control and wont let anything get added apart from through the program,

Yah, iFuntastic does some weird stuff. I don't use it at all, personally. Never have installed it on my computer. I'm not sure the fix to remove the pages thing it adds? Are you using SummerBoard?

Same here...i stay away from that app. I add my apps manually through SFTP using cyber duck or through installer.app.

My standard fix would be to restore, seeing as how 1 sync with itunes and a 2 minute install of installer.app through apptapp will have you up and running again...but that's just my 2 cents.
