It should automatically calculate your route after you input the start and destination did you go into the settings and turn the GPS "on"?

dont forget to change the gps module under settings.
Change it to 3g.
You can do directions to a place you search for if you do a route from current location to "search" then name it something.

Yup thats what i had wrong in the settings. I figured it out while playing around with it, it was set to the default xgps or something and I changed it to 3g and it worked!

Thanks for the replies.

Has anyone else had trouble with the xGPS manager program on their PC? I try to download maps but the program just freezes!

Select a smaller area and only zoom levels 2,3 and 4 - otherwise your file size will be very (and I mean VERY) big and it does look like it's frozen.

It looks like it's frozen while downloading, as the last post said. I left mine run overnight and it eventually "unfroze" and finished.
