I can't believe theres not a way to search and download free music to iPhone yet like with limewire. I always thought this would be the first app out.

1. add CopyCoders repository to your sources homepage.mac.com/hartsteins/copycoders/copycoders.xml

2. get the 1.1.2 download plugin for safari. there may be some other place to get this but this is where i got it

3. install mobile finder and mobile preview and send file as well

4. in safari go to www.seeqpod.com and search for what song you want. they have a great search engine and an incredible music selection. i have been able to find normally difficult to find stuff on here

5. when you find what you want hit the green download button and here it comes

6. go to send file to play the song and make sure you got what you wanted so far everything i have found has been perfect and all tagged up for itunes

7. if your on wifi they come very quickly i have not yet used it on edge

8. you can now sftp(ssh) into your iphone and grab the song and add it to your itunes or which is much much easier you can install AFPd on your iphone turn it on and give it a new name if you want. then your iphone will show up on your mac shared in your finder and just go to root home then downloads and drag it over.

That plugin came out when the firmware was 1.1.2 and it doesn't need to be upgraded to work. Works great on 1.1.4 and will most likely work on 2.0

I have 1.1.4 and that worked for me. I did also ssh a new quicktime plugin and a filesharing plugin. Im downloading off seeqpod !

one question, if we keep downloading music, does it save under the big partition if you have moved your ringtones, wallpaper, and apps using boss tool?
