Maps app problem

On my google maps app, the map is not loading. It loads only at certain zoom levels. See screenshot below:

Has this happened to any1? I already deleted the maps.app and replaced it with 1 I obtained from a friend and that did not work.

it may have been a bad move to replace it

ive heard of others with this problem.. i havent seen any solution yet though

I made a backup of the original.

What about a restore?

That sounds about like your only fix for this. I have never seen that kind of problem.
