Just updated to this version and cant figure out how to use it. In the change log it says 'go to configuration link above for details on turning it on' and it might be me but I cant see any link!? Any ideas?
Theres a few threads about the weather icon but they are in differnt subforums. You have to install the Katra weather icon theme and activate in Winterboard to make it work now. Also, if you install SupremePreferences, there are other settings for the weather icon.
i have installed the newest update for weather icon, installed katra weather icon theme and activated it, restarted and the weather icon is still default but shows current temp. any ideas. or can someone direct me to those other subforums
I think you have it working the way it is supposed to. Its light blue in the day and a gray color at night with the sun and moon changing along with the current temp. What do you want it to look like? Transparent icon?
ohh. i could have sworn the older version showed the weather instead of it just being night and day. if thats the case then, its running smoothly. thanks!
Cool! If you install SupremePreferences, there are settings in there to make the weather show above in your staus bar. Thats pretty cool too. My weather icon is also transparent. I like it that way.

see! like that. your weather icon shows cloudy. is that from weather icons and katra? or is that from supreme preferences??
my default location is partly cloudy, but the springboard icon shows Sunny. Temp is correct. I just hate looking at the icon because i know its lying. Can you direct me to how i can make it show the appropriate weather?
I was using the transparent icon with weather icon; but after this upgrade, transparent icon does not appear to work... can only see either the stock icon or katra.... any way to get the transparent icon (which show current weather conditions in the icon working again?
