All respect to Boss but his sbsettings messes up my wi-fi on my iTouch. Just wondering if anyone knows the terminal command to kick your device into "safe mode".

I have had the same problem, but I found if you just wait at the black screen long enough it will work. It just does not display the load screen that you usualy would see. Let me know if this works for youSent from my iPad

All you have to do is use mobileterminal/ssh via WinSCP and type in this command: touch /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.saurik.mobilesubstrate.dat
Respring your device and it will launch it into safe mode
