ok i just downloaded swirly from cydia... and when i click it i click get demo licsence but then it says fetching then failed anybody got a clue why it does that i even restored it and tried but still nothing

It did the same to me, it just turned out I had a weak signal. The instructions on their website say to try using Wi-Fi if you were on 3G/Edge and it didn't work. It also says to try 3G/Edge if Wi-Fi didn't work. Give it a shot, good luck. I also hope you're not on AT&T. Getting that to work will be either a huge headache or a heck of a lot of fun. It all depends on how much you like being on the phone with AT&T support.
