Safari Crashes on Launch!

I have a jailbroken iPhone 3G, running OS 2.2.1. Today I just ran into a huge problem. Safari is crashing on launch, I can not tap or touch anything in the safari interface once the app opens (no site launches, or is in the address bar either). I have tried respringing, shutting down the phone and turning it back on, nothing is working. I have even cleared my cache, history, and cookies... still nothing. As much as safari sucks, it is the only browser that I like out of all the browsers available on the iphone. Please help.

Thanks!

Ok... I am not sure which variable was the culpret, but if you have a similar problem try uninstalling adblocker and "awesome theme" even though I deactivated both, it didn't resolve my issue, but uninstalling both got safari back up and running. I hope this helps others out there!

Yup, it was adblock....

Alternate method (if you want to keep adblock) is to turn off phone and wifi before launching safari.

I'm having the same problem as everyone else, and I'm running 2.1. Even with adblock set to off, safari opens then crashes. when removed through cydia, safari works!
