hi im pretty new to installing apps as i dont have access to wifi so i was told to put my downloaded apps in the following directory private/var/stash/applications, but even when i restart my phone there not in there. i used pc suite to refresh the icons so they show up but the apps wont start. its probably a noob question but any help would be appreciated thanks.

eg. one of the apps i was trying to install was the videorecorder app.

You'll need to set permissions on those app. Diskaid doesn't support that. Not sure about pc suite. you could try sbsetting I believe that will allow you to set the permissions. Search for it.

Hi guyz, I have an iphone 3G and I had a 2G earlier but just gave that to a cuz, and I got a lot of apps I downloaded from cydia on it and I wonder if I can get those apps to re-install manually via diskaid on my 3G, can anybody help on how to do that pls???
