Categories, 2.2.1 Hidden Icon repair

Having troubles with Categories and 2.2.1 ????

example) I don't know how to fix this thing, Where is my icons?, Where is Cydia and Installer? =( I need to my backup files but i can't save it!! etc...

I'm gonna tell you about how to fix this problems. It took me long enough to find this out. If anyone who upgraded the firmware 2.2 to 2.2.1 and there's nothing on ur screen? like no icons?

here is how to fix it.

#1) If you used categories(app) and put every icons in the folder and forgot to backup and accidently upgraded to 2.2.1.

Try this.

run itunes and Click shift + repair with current 2.2.1 firmware.

use quickpwn to jailbreak and install Boss Prefs with Cydia.

go back to itunes and use the backup method and do the backup.

it will take about 20~30mins so you should grab some food and wait.

after finishing the backup, you will see the boss prefs on your screen.

run boss prefs and click hide icons on the botton left.

and change to ON, you will see every single icons on ur screen now.

#2. if you still have the settings icon on your screen.

click on settings -> General -> Restrictions -> On -> restart the iphone ->

do the same thing but turn it off this time.

P.S Now you have everything u neeeeeeed! yay!!!

I will update some more info later!
