on the app store I see something called im.

in the appstore best advice is to use beejive.. best IM client ever.. allows you to login to multiple accounts send pictures sounds and many other great features..next to that would be aol's free AIM in the app store.. whats good about beejive is it will foward ur IMs to e-mail if u close the program so u are always informed :-)

+1 for BeejiveIM ! I tried IM+ but it was too mediocre-looking or my taste. Also, I had trouble using IM+ as it kept on crashing on my phone. Dunno why it kept doing that but go with Beejive. You won't be disappointed.

Or try the free version of BeeJive. It's called Palringo. I'm starting to think all these people that recommend BeeJive haven't tried Palringo in a long time, because every feature I see people mention about BeeJive are also in Palringo. =/

palringo and beejive are comparable as far as features go, but if memory serves the reason i use beejive was because palringo did not support myspace im, but then again, palringo claims to be supporting facebook here in the near future.

Im+ lite and full is kinda bland in my opinion. It works, but not all that well.

Palringo not only uses your screen name and buddy list to spank people, the program just sucks. Beejive all the way.

There is a reason palringo gets 2 stars and beejive close to 5.
