Default The proper way to backup Cydia applications

    Hi guys,

I'm prepping to upgrade to firmware 2.2. What are the best ways to backup my Cydia applications? Is there absolutely no way to backup Cydia applications.

Also does anyone have links for custom 2.2 firmware so I won't update the baseband. Thanks

It's obviously 3G since he doesn't want a baseband update.

ya about that... i followed these directions and it didn't work for me. so just beware aptbackup didn't work for myself and a lot of other people. I was pretty pissed, but i do have a solution

I suggest using aptbackup and saving the txt file it makes, via ssh, onto your computer. Then copy it back after you restore your iphone. I'm not sure where it stores it, but it's mentioned somewhere in a thread about aptbackup, so do a search and you'll have it. which this is suppose to happen when you follow the directions however like i said for several of us it hasn't worked that way.
