AptBackup - Slow or is my phone dead?

I hit restore on my phone, then hit the "Sleep" button. It has been 2 hours without my phone responding to me. I hold the sleep button, no response. Tap the home button, no response. Screen won't turn on.

What happened? Is this normal? 2 HOURS. It still vibrates to new mail.

Hold home + power until the phone reboots.

I know that will get my phone working, but I don't want to cancel this apt installation half-way.

Anyone ever had it take this long?

Dude trust me... if your phone has been "sleeping" for 2 hours something is WRONG. Apt backup should take less than 10 mins and that's even if you have several gigs worth of Cydia apps installed.

Okay I force-restarted my phone, springboard hasn't changed so I don't think anything was really installed.

I'm gonna try the restore again, making sure that screen stays on.

Thanks

Damn, the screen turned off again (on its own) and won't turn back on. Should I just restart and constantly tap the screen so it doesn't sleep?

It isn't responding again after it naturally went to sleep.

Force-restart it again..... BUT this time, disable auto-lock first. If it goes to sleep this time, there's a different problem.

Yes, I too experienced the lag before going to sleep. I ran the Apt Backup restore again, this time I disabled autolock first, and it restored my numerous cydia apps in about 4 minutes. worked as i expected.
