    Default notes app

hi guys, I'm running a 1.1.4 jailbroken hacktivated, ipsf unlocked iPhone, if I make any changes to my notes, they are erased if I go back to the home screen. Also, It won't even let me try to add one... Any suggestions? Thanks

Sounds like Notes.app doesn't have permission to write to the database. Try SSHing into the Notes.app and:

    chmod 4755 Notes
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

set permissions to 4775, it wasn't a typo. The 4 tells the program to run as root.

I had this same problem. I deleted the note.db file which allowed me to save but i souldnt delete. What fixed it was to do this:

    chown mobile/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE

I read about this and while the preson who posted it did it to fix a photo album problem, there was mention somewhere about it fixing notes if i remember correctly.
