WinSCP SSH help please!

Please help! I SSH'd a file I got here, (the facebook app) and then D-loaded the appropriate SSH client, WinScp. Let them tell it, it's as easy as 1-2-3, meaning that all you have to do is drag and drop and the app appears in your Iphone, at least as far as I can tell per the instructions from the Poster. No such luck for the kid. Granted I am a NOOB to this stuff, but not an entire Idiot. Any and all help is welcomed and VERY appreciated. Thanks, Michael

go back to where u put the app and right click and then click properties and change folder octal: from 0655 or whatever it is to 0755

I believe facebook is a free app from the app store. Why not get it there?
You my have download an app for an earlier firmware. Can you link us to the page you downloaded that app from?

it already defaulted to 0755, and that didn't work. GRRRRR

go inside some of the folders and see if the plist and those files are the same

I think I figured out what's going wrong with my attempts. When I looked at the version that I got from the link that I d-loaded, I believe I got 1.0 and I have 1.1.4 Could that be what's going wrong? That my firmware is a later version? Or is that version compatible with my 1.1.4 firmware? I looked at the plist info on both local and remote windows and they are identical...

I think the problem is that if you have 1.x.x firmware, you cant have any apps. They appstore came out with the 2.0 update which gave the app store...app lol. I'd say just upgrade it and that should fix the problem.
