New File2Mail app?

Has anyone got this to work or is it just me having problems, for some reason i get errors when trying to email a file.

SMTP Settings:

address: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
login: my login
password: my password

email address: yahoo email

Worked fine for me. I emailed a cycorder video and it worked flawlessly. I also have yahoo email and under address I have: smtp.yahoo.com, not 'mail'. Try that.. good luck.

Tried it still no luck, still get (error faild to send the mail! please try again). the reason i had smtp.mail.yahoo is because when i looked settings for yahoo they all said the same thing.

Ive also resprung, tried it on edge and wifi.

Any more ideas?

I too havent gotten this to work. My settings say smtp.aol.com... my login and pass and my entire email.

When I go to send, it makes my phone respring on it's own. I'm trying to send a music file I downloaded with DTunes.

I got it to work but it seems you have to manually enter each e-mail address...I think that makes it somewhat of a pain. Other than that it is a great app.

It works great i used gmail smtp no problems..

Tried twice with gmail, iPhone freezes and then reboots. Uninstalled this 'til it gets to version 2 something, No way to choose an email address from your contacts?! WTF? Like I have all these addresses in my mind. Nice idea, neat GUI, but overall this fails.

i was having trouble as well, i'm getting ready to try the yahoo settings that were suggested.

Tried gmail setting... phone is not locked up but moving painfully slow. The file still has not yet been sent.

Very useful app. Still needs improvement though. First time I tried it my phone crashed and did a reboot. The second time, still waiting for the file to send also.
