Default Is SwirlyMMS really as hard to get working...

..as everyone makes it out to be on an iPhone 3G/2.x with AT&T?

If not, how can I go about doing this? I'm on a family unlimited text plan, whether that makes a difference or not I don't know. I heard you have to call up AT&T and try somehow convincing them of activating something, I don't know. All help would be appreciated.

They have to activated MMS on your account.

They wont if you have an iphone....and even if they do, accounts are automatically sweeped periodically to disable the feature.

^Yeah, there are a few people that have had good luck with it.

Wish I was one of them

Even after a member who works for AT&T set mine up...it only worked for about 2 weeks

Wow I'm officially an IDIOT. Okay so basically a few months back when I switched over to a Family Unlimited Text plan MMS was enabled this whole time an I didn't know, so when I went to call them to make tell them to enable it, they saw that and switched it back off =( Now I'm completely shhh out of luck

And while I was on the phone with the lady i had my brothers phone an sent a picture to myself an swirly popped up with 1, but it just wouldn't fetch it and download it because the lady already switched the mms back off =/
