Google talk or IM in background

I've seen a couple of articles on IM apps that run in the background, like iChabber and Agile Messenger. I can't find either on Installer or Cydia, and the suggested sources are installed. Is there really not a good app that lets google talk run in the background??? I can't stand leaving safari open ALL DAY, and then it disconnects if someone calls me or I check my email. There has to be something out there. Any suggestions? Or, does anyone know where I can find Agile Messenger or iChabber??

You can use the Backgrounder App available from Cydia and run any app in the background. Its in the BigBoss & Planet-iphones sources.
