So I just uograded to pda net 1.50 which seems to be a miracle since they have now added the ability to tether via usb. Only one problem, it seems not to be working...I have seen similar reports in other forums but was wondering if anyone has had any success with pda net 1.50 and windows vista...Thanks

sorry. but how do you get pda net to work coz my iphone has the wifi connection & my laptop doesnt have any. the thing is, im sharing a connection so i dont have any access to network security key. any ideas?

i haven't been able to use pdanet with my macbook for the past month

it just says:

please go to settings and cnnect to your wifi network then your laptop will be online

or something like that.

but im already connected to my adhoc network created by my macbook before i go into pdanet.

is it broken?

Im using PdaNet 1.50 with usb, and it connects fine. All of chat apps work fine on my laptop. But no web pages, the dns lookup shows 0 lookups?

Yeah I mean I was able to download the iphone and desktop software and the iphone and desktop both say it is connected but the web browser is just not working...and I know that it has to be some setting on vista because I tried it on my old desktop running windows xp and it worked like a charm....any ideas???

1.51 is now available in Cydia and it solved my dns lookups-problem!
