Poker Stars for the iphone

I would love to see a poker stars app for the iphone. Do you think this will ever happen? Would be sweet to have some mobile gambling!

that would be horrible! imagine playing on your computer with someone whos usig their iphone and has internittent /slow connection!? and considering how reliable 3g and edge are, i wouldnt be gambling money on it....

that said, its a matter of time before the sites make such apps....but would probably be for jailbroken phones, i dont think apple would support gambling in the app store

Its possible — and you`ll don`t see any troubles with connection, but apple does not allow any Gambling app in their store

You can try to play in "Texas Poker" from cydia big boss repository Free and without sync bugs or Live poker from App Store — its a little more buggy but have more players too

Apple have approved a Bwin iPhone poker app for the iPhone so I don't see why they wouldn't approve a PokerStars iPhone app. (Source : Bwin iPhone Poker App)

I doubt a Pokerstars app will appear for the US market though because of the legal situation online poker finds itself in.

I just played PokerStars on my iPhone using Logmeinignition.
Works fine for me. Did use a wifi-connection, but it's not necessary.

PokerStars released an iPhone app last week but it is only available in the Italian App Store for now. According to www.iphonepoker.net the app allows you to play Texas HoldEm, Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo. You can play for fun or for real money and there are a bunch of ways to filter games by stake and table size.

PokerStars haven't given any indication yet as to when the app will be available in other iTunes accounts.
