Where to put avi files using Vlc4iphone...?

I have just installed Vlc4iphone....could someone please tell me where I need to put the avi/video files...?
There are no instrucions on this.

they run really poorly... gotta wait for a few updates b4 this is watchable. You can put them anywhere that you can navigate to inside the vlc player. Just look around inside the vlc and decide which folder is the most convenient then ssh it in. i am warning though .avi's play like crap atm.

Your right ...playback is terrible at the moment...and no play pause button or landscape....hopefully new version soon.
