Any good GPS navigation yet?

I remember last year seeing articles about TeleNav working on GPS Navigation system for the iPhone. All information on that seems to dead-end in July '08. About the same time information was put out there that TomTom already had their software running on the iPhone. I have not been able to find the applications or any recent information on them.

Still, no turn-by-turn GPS Navigation for the iPhone is available that I've found. On January 12th I'm leaving the frozen state of Alaska to go on vacation in Florida and I would very much like to have a GPS Navigation system to take with me, preferably an iPhone 3G application to another piece of hardware.

Can anyone shed a little light on the progress of TomTom, TeleNav, or point in the direction of an alternative working solution for the iPhone 3G and GPS turn-by-turn Navigation?

TomTom,TeleNav&also Nokia-Apple with together are working on it.But there is no related sofware yet.Maybe Apple will add a hardware gps chip on next 3rd gen iphone.Im using My Nokia95 for gps turn-by-turn navigation. Cause no way to use it with my iphone yet.

g-map works better than google maps but still no turn by turn.
