Ipa files won't install

I'm sorry for asking for help before contributing anything but I plan to create loads of themes and contribute more but now I need help.

I'm trying to install some Ipa files onto my iTouch, I'm following this (HORRIBLE) guide by someone and I guess apparently english is his second or third language or he just sucks at giving help, point is I follow the guide the best I can and it doesn't work.

Se7enSins Forums - View Single Post - .ipa

How do I install Ipa files? I got the SSH connection, but when I go to sync my iTouch with the apps it says it can't be verified.

forget the way that guy told you it doesn't work just go to cydia and add this source:

and then download an app called "**********"
The iPhone and iPod Touch Application Index and choose the ap u want then scroll down and check if the firmware is the same as yours and then go to version, u will see all the versions of the app and choose whatever version u want. then it will open a page with "download" and install on it just press download and wait until it finishes then open ********** and choose the file u just downloaded and press on it and press install. it will install the app then after it finishes just restart the springboard and u will find the app.

This forum doesnt support warez so you are gonna have to look elsewhere for advice. A mod will probably shut this thread down soon.

Just to update our Warez policy. It's a matter of legality. MMi does not want to get sued... bottom line. In order to ensure this doesn't happen we have determined that it's allowed to discuss warez and installation methods. What is NOT ok is hosting cracked apps, linking to cracked apps, or telling people where to get them.

For example.. there is no problem with all the game emulators... there is no problem asking and posting detailed instructions on how to install ROMs which you will find all over this forum. What is NOT OK is hosting these ROMs... linking to these ROMs or telling someone the exact location of how to obtain these ROMs.

^As stated...a little help with installation is ok. So....

1. All you do is double-click on the .ipa file after downloading it, this will install it in Itunes.

2. You will need to install "IpaPrep" from Cydia on your phone (you may have to add a repo to find it, and for that you can google), look for the prep that is for your FW version (it will say).

3. Sync with Itunes.

^We had a discussion about it and decided that some installation "assistance" was ok....however NO discussion on how/where to get cracked anything. Or any links to apps.

^LOL.

Our main concern was staying within the realm of "legal"....and installation help isnt going beyond that until you start hosting and/or linking to cracked apps.

If its a "link" than no. If people are "looking" for something then they can google. If its general install instructions thats ok. I know, its confusing.

And the link you had up.....although it has instructions, that site also has hacked apps, so that would be no good.

Well, hope that helps

We're trying to loosen up a bit, cause its not that we're attempting to be butts.....but we've already had numerous battles with Apple over legal issues, and that gets expensive. So its fine as long as its legal.

I have done all the measures like replaing Mobileinstalltiopatch installing SSH and Automatic SSH installing WINSCP.

When i download the app from ********** directly from Iphone it doens work or show me DOWNLOAD option.

2ndly, when i try to SYNC it with Itune it gives me message:

"app cant be installed because they are not verified"

PLEASE ADVISE
