    Default Ebay App.

    Hello All:

With the new Ebay app on installer it says you need to have the Ebay token. Does anyone know what that is and how to install that? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks..

    Marc

I have never tried the ebay app off installer...but i am pretty sure to get an ebay token you have to sign up to become a developer and then they provide you with a token.

I have read them, but I installed this app directly from installer. So, what I am unclear about is how to get the token onto my phone with the app already installed.

    Thanks..

Just made it work. Be carefull when copying. The token it is 872 characters long, so you have to select all (Command-A).

    1. Run Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access on your mac and select the item eBayWacher
    2. Copy the token in "Show password" field
    3. SSH to your phone and edit Data.plist in Applications\My Ebay.app
    4. Input (paste) token key value between string and /string
    5. Save Data.plist

I SSH'd into my phone and I found the data.plist, but there is nothing there to edit. Am I not looking in the right spot? I found the data.plist under Applications\My Ebay.app

    Thanks..

Why don't you guys install OS-X on your PC, perhaps in dual boot or using Vmware. Very doable nowadays and so much fun.
