I have iPhone 3G 3.0.1, jailbroke with Redsnow 8.0, and with firmware 3.0. I have SBSettings with almost everything. When I downloaded Fauntswap a previous app I deleeted (iBlank) showed up for no reason and put fourty blank bookmarks on my spring board. Talk about wasted space!!! Also Macitty bookmark shows up and evean though I have Cydia, Icy deleet I can't remove FauntSwap but I can deleet all the bookmarks and Macitty but if I reboot they come back, EVERYTHING !!! I also have 77 Spring Board with 6 icon dock. I really like SBSettings and all the rest evean faunt swap, do I have to much crap? Now Cydia doesn't boot up it goes to the start up screene then back to Spring Board. I read that they have the new jailbreak mabey I'll just up date my jailbreak. What a pain in the ***!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you may have used a back-up to restore with all these issues. If so you will have to restore again and re-jailbreak. Make sure you have no hidden apps in categories or poofed.
Also it seems you have Cydia and Icy, there is a known conflict when installing these 2 apps, install Cydia only.

I read that already in your last post, I'm asking if you restored setting up as a new phone or from a back-up?
What ever the case may be in order to clean your phone up you still need to restore again making sure you set it up as a new phone.

You should be using redsn0w 0.8 and yes it will give you an option by checking a box which one you want to install. Again, to cure your problem you need to start over.

Boy I'm really confused now, how in the world could you have FontSwap, SBSettings and all the others if it is a new phone and you say you have "No underlying Cydia Apps". Just can't be. We have a communication problem here.

Sorry I do rennet I did only check Cydia when using redsnow .08 with 3.0 firmware.

I restored my iPhone a few times when up grading firmwares from 2.0.1 to 3.0.1 using 3.0 and RedSnow .08. Once (now) since I have a jailbroke iPhone with 3.0 firmware evean though I already upgraded to 3.0.1 in iTunes you use firmware 3.0 and RedSnow .08 to jailbreak as I'm shure you already know! Once I jailbroke with RedSnow I downloaded all the stuff I have now through Cydia ect........

Again, the only way to cure your issues with the phone is to restore and make sure you set it up as a new phone, not restore from a back up.
