there are 2 syncfix in iclarified that later says from unsecure source. my utube is working but not mail....what do i do? please

on my friends installer app theres a package for youtube fix and volume apmlifier for 1.1.4 i checked the sources and we have the same ones but on mine it wont show up, any ideas of why? thankss

Here I share my experience with you on how to make YouTube work when I unlocked my 1.1.4 iPhone.

First of all, by using ZiPhone 2.5c "Do It All!" I successfully unlocked my 1.1.4 iPhone but "cannot connect to YouTube". I don't have mail problem. After tried several time, I found YouTube problem can be avoided by the following steps,

1. Click "Jailbreak" button instead of "Do It All" to jailbreak the phone and install the AppTapp Installer on the phone. This leaves the phone locked to AT&T (I have AT&T service). After this, I found the YouTube is still working properly.

2. Run "Advanced Features" by checking "Unlock SIM-Lock" only. This will unlock the phone. After this, I found no YouTube connection problem on my iPhone.

3 Install other software you want.

This is what I have experienced. Hopefully it can help some of you who have the same problem.

I tried all the stuff listed in this thread, and nothing worked. then I found the link above. It's the only thing that's worked for me whatsoever. So if you're in the same situation, read it.

And ephonee, if that's what's happening, then you may have already installed those packages. That or you need to refresh your sources.

Interesting, I tried the 1.1.4 tweak, and it didnt work. Then I tried 1.1.4 tweak many more times, and still no luck. Then I try this... and no luck, and when I thought all hope was lost for YouTube, I tried 1.1.4 tweak again, and it worked... Not sure why, but thats how I got mine working

ok so nothing is working to fix my e mail problem. i am very sad. i hate the fact that now while i am shopping or whatever i cant check my email AARRGGGHHH.
I have tried every link and tweak. nothing has helped.

I forgot to back up data_art.plist, device_private_key.pem and device_public_key.pem and now I have no service, restoring my phone reactivates it, but when I jailbreak it it goes back to no service. Does anyone know a way to get my service back, or does anyone have the files that'll work, even if they don't give me youtube?

I tried many different methods of getting youtube to work from jailbreaking using Ziphone. I found that the only way that worked that didn't mess with my phone's ability to receive signal was to restore, then when using Ziphone, hit the third button down "Jailbreak". Doing Jailbreak + Activate seems to mess with something. Well anyways, e-mail & youtube & reception seems to be working perfectly.

Hitting the third button down, will this unlock the phone? i DO NOT want to unlock the iphone just jailbreak. I want to be able to install the 1.2 version in June without having any SIM problems. I know unlocking the phone can cause problems. With Jailbreak I can at least do a restore without any problems. I used Ziphone on 1.1.4 and all went ok except youtube and yahoo mail will not work no matter what I did. What you are saying if I restore and run Ziphone using the third button down may enable youtube and yahoo mail?

just hit the button to jailbreak. its pretty self explanatory. then use itunes to activate.

Do I need to do anything in itunes to activate? Is it as simple as connecting iphone to itunes and itunes will do rest?

yeah. just connect your phone and sync it. itunes does the rest.
