    Default frequently used apps
    Hi,

are there any apps that will either:

    1) make a button that I can put on the bar at the bottom so I can click it and it will jump to page 1?

    or

    2) add an extra row of static buttons to the bottom?

my problem is that I have about 5 pages of apps, but I have maybe 7 or 8 that I use most of the time. So I would like to access those as quickly as possible.

any other suggestions also welcome, thanks!

I seem to remember in firmware 2.2 if you click the home button it takes you to the first page. Why don't you put all the apps you use most on the first page....?

thanks for the suggestions... I'll look into those apps.

I'm still wary of upgrading to 2.2, I have a gevey SIM... guess I should check into it later. I know very little about the process but I'm guessing when they write things like "DON'T UPGRADE if you want to have a chance in hell of getting a software unlock", it probably means more like don't do it unless, when/if a software unlock comes along, you don't mind flashing back to 2.1 first?

please correct me if I'm wrong.

also, the other question about that is... if they do come out with a software unlock, does that mean I would have to run 2.1 firmware with the software unlock?
