I've tried all the settings on the swirly website , but still no good.

    Anybody got any ideas

I either get an error report or it stays on sending for ages and does nothing else

Yes I've done that but unfortunately don t have time to sift through all 5000 posts , I was hoping someone may have a more sensible response.

As far as i can see and please correct me if I'm wrong , I'm sure you will.
A lot of people are having problems with this on the O2 network in the UK , Is it a case of getting O2 to allow MMS on my tariff (the 75 quid a month one) because it seems people have contrasting info on this , some are allowed , some aren't.

Or is there another way i.e with certain settings

    thanks
    Dave

It's actually a lot easier to setup SwirlyMMS for AT&T than many think... Just go to your account online and click on Features on the Menu. Then decline your iPhone Texting plan. Then approve the change. Then go back to Features on the Menu and click on the Family Texting Plan. Approve that. Then give it 24 hours and it should work. Voila! It worked for me. You don't need to call anyone at AT&T. : P Just input mmsc.cingular.com for the MMSC and the 066.xxx.xx.xxx for the proxy. I forgot what the actual proxy address is but it starts with 066. Good luck!

    Default Please help!!
I installed Swirly MMS on my iPhone and for a few days it was working fine. Now it will open but that dumb little "m" will not turn green!! I can open the application just fine and open the txt that I have already opened, but I cannot open the new items...because the "m" won't turn green!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application a couple of times and nothing seems to be working...any ideas???

I know this is stating the obvious but have you made sure Edge is enabled as quite a few people haven't and also some people have said that it might not work if you have wifi on, just a couple of suggestions to try

    Default swirlymms tip
Hi , Ive been trying to get swirly working on both my and my other halfs iphones (one on t mobile , one on o2 )have searched everywhere on the net and know that many other uk users are having problems, confirmed settings with tmobile so i knew they were correct, so heres what i did and my swirly worked perfectly straight away , I changed the USER AGENT in swirly settings to a SE_W800i and i could send and recieve perfectly , just made the same change to other halfs o2 phone and that also worked straight away , dont know why this should happen or if it works with any of the other phones in the list but anyone struggling to get swirly to work should give it a try , please post if it works for you
