To iRealSMS users

I got a couple questions for all of you iRealSMS users out there, before i decide to take the plunge for a license lol...

1. Do text messages still go through your carrier? (for example, will it still go through ATT for me) or is it handled by iReal or some third party?
2. Is iReal stable enough, as in do you guys experience app crashes, delayed text messaging, text messages not sent or received, etc.
3. Finally, would you say that it is overall worth the price and good enough to replace the native SMS app?

Any responses would be appreciated...thanks!

1. Yes, they still go through your carrier. You can still see the messages in your normal sms program as well as iRealSMS.
2. It has not crashed for me yet nor do I think it will. It acts like your regular sms program, just with those tweaks, so if you've never had a problem before you shouldn't have one now.
3. As for the final question, its up to you. It does exactly what it says and nothing more. If you find yourself misstyping a lot of texts, then this is probably something you may want to look into. Just try the demo and see if its for you.

just bought it and then saw this post.
Program is well done.
The only thing is it seems to chew on the battery, I think....
I di a bunch of updates on the app store and cydia so i have to really dig into all the settings to ensure its not something else.
Landscape is great makes texting easier.
interface straight forward.
Make sure you download version 2.0 not 1.3 (your activation wount work in 1.3)
I am still on a JB 2.1 set up.

I agree, real is the bomb. I've not had a single issue thus far. The landscape is amazing, espicially when driving haha. I do however want to upgrade to fw 2.2 and am a little hesitant only due to the fact that ireal may not work. Is anyone running fw 2.2 and iReal sms?

Send a message via AIM to AFP520

I upgraded to 2.2 and now have a crash problem when trying to individually delete messages within the inbox. You tap "edit" and then when you tap "done" it crashes.
