1. Do text messages still go through your carrier? (for example, will it still go through ATT for me) or is it handled by iReal or some third party?
2. Is iReal stable enough, as in do you guys experience app crashes, delayed text messaging, text messages not sent or received, etc.
3. Finally, would you say that it is overall worth the price and good enough to replace the native SMS app?

1. Yes, they still go through your carrier. You can still see the messages in your normal sms program as well as iRealSMS.
2. It has not crashed for me yet nor do I think it will. It acts like your regular sms program, just with those tweaks, so if you've never had a problem before you shouldn't have one now.
3. As for the final question, its up to you. It does exactly what it says and nothing more. If you find yourself misstyping a lot of texts, then this is probably something you may want to look into. Just try the demo and see if its for you.
