MPlayer and firmware 2.2 problems

MPlayer won't even launch on firmware 2.2. I've installed and even re-installed but its still not working. Any suggestions? Thanks

I think we need to start a post listing all apps that isn't compatible with firmware 2.2

Is it working for anyone else on firmware 2.2

I had the same problem but once I made the media folder in /private/var and I added a media file in the folder it open up with no problem. I think because there is no media in the folder that is why it closes to the springboard, but once you add media to the folder it upons up.

mplayer still doesnt work for me... any other ideas?
