Poofed apps, SBSettings, Qik
I have a few questions.
1) I noticed in SBSettings I have 87MB free. What goes into that directory, App Store apps, Cydia apps or both?
2) If I poofed/hid an app using BossPrefs and I add it to the Dock in SBSettings, will it be visible?
3) I want to try Qik (the streaming app). Is it free? Any try it? Good/bad/worth a download?
Thanks.

87mb is how much space you have on the "/" folder.... i believe this is known as "root folder"???
with that space you can add ringtones..... and well... i think thats about it. in previous versions of FW, this space was used for INSTALLER and CYDIA apps... but since i think FW version 1.1.2..... (i think) BIGBOSS and maybe another dev or 2 have added the possibility to add apps to the folder "/var", because many people were using up the small amount of space on the "/" folder with JAILBROKEN apps. Since FW 2.0 apple has made all apps store in "/var" folder. so its like the HD is partitioned.
Que #2: if you add a app to the dock in sbsettings, it will, by default, poof/hide the app. You can however, go into the poof app and unpoof the app added to dock if you prefer.
Que #3: I have tried QIK... and it is worth it.. it IS FREE. and worth the download. the only downside is that it is not REALLY a live feed... I BELIEVE it is added to the website as soon as you are finished recording... but other than that... it is definitely worth the download.
If this helps... hit that thanks button!

For #2, I'm not sure I know what you mean. Say I have Stocks poofed (hidden) on Springboard, poofed with BossPrefs. I then open SBSettings and add Stocks to the dock. Will it be visible in the SBSettings dock, since it's poofed on Springboard? Or will adding it to the SBSettings dock unhide it from Springboard and then add it to the dock?
