MySMS
Has anyone downloaded and used it yet? It just showed up on Cydia this morning. It seems to work much much faster that bitesms with regards to switching to landscape mode. I sure wish that bitesms or this new mysms would allow you to set it to default landscape.

for me it doesnt match contacts and their numbers (exept a few) so its a no go :/(
pd: you can test it forever without paying, but some/all smss are sent with a 30 sec delay until you pay

Seems to be great so far. I like that it uses the keyboard theme from Winterboard. It doesn't use the SMS themes though. I think for $4.95 this is a great value!

Yeah, I'm still waiting on the activation key too. I have a few contacts that don't match up either. Not sure why. I was hoping that it would eventually figure it out. There must be something different about those contacts.

its great but i am facing an issue if anyone can help me instead of showing the contact name it is showing +9613****** although in my normal sms application contacts are shown where i fixed it.
does anyone know how i can fix it in mysms thank you
and one more thing is there a way i can make it only show my phone contacts without emails, as in contacts i have 2 groups an email and a phone group.

I was able to change the default.png to get rid of the splash screen that it comes with, and I was able to change the bubbles. I havent messed with the background yet, but I think it wont be too hard.
In 'your theme"\folders\MySMS.app\
balloon_1.png
balloon_2.png
Notice the 'b' is lowercase, it is uppercase for the default SMS app
and Default.png is the same
Ill figure out the background part later and post results
So long, and thanks for all the fish

I had an contact not show up as only the phone number and figured out that it didn't have a 1 in front of the area code. I edited the contact to add the 1 and all of a sudden it registered the name. Hope this helps.

this app is pretty cool but it kinda sucks how it has that loading screen when you open the app up and how some contacts dont show names but numbers. hopefully on the next update they will fix this and be able to skin it to whatever we want.
