hey i think im having a similar problem although i only installed MySMS...idk how to check what processes are running, im looking for some type of utility in cydia right now, what are you using to see what processes are running? there has to be something running in the background of mine too bc i have to reboot every once in a while to stop my battery draining :/

you can use top from terminal (you need to install it from cydia) or ps -e (maybe as root).

i already fixed it by uninstalling all my apstore apps and reinstalling them (some upgrade/install/uninstall had gone wrong :P )

of course i backed up my info with appbackup

yeaa i figured out how to do it by looking on bigboss' page, thanks for the info, anyway the problem seems to have gone away for now, i think maybe it was bc i kept trying to update stuff in cydia and it would cut off in the middle of the download so thats why reportcrash was going off..

Did your ISP give you an email? Thats how I got it registered.

No, if they did give me the option i didn't make one. So any one have any ideas or have success with any email address i can just sign up for, ive tried all the ones i know.

for those still interested in skinning the background:

It is a 32x32 tileable image called bg_contact.png
it needs to be in a folder named whatever you want, and place that folder here:
/private/var/mobile/Library/MySMS/Skins

You will also need the plst file that goes with it.

Should your config.plst replace the existing config.plst inside /private/var/mobile/Library/MySMS

Or put inside our "folder named whatever you want" along with the bg_contact.png?

It goes in the folder with the images.

Check to make sure the i in 'icon.png' is not capitalized and the d in 'default.png' is when you ssh in the icons.

has anyone else had problems with this app when receiving an sms, and clicking on reply it says "Restricted URL This URL wasn't loaded:smshook" ? how can I fix this?

I am having a problem forwarding messages. If i forward a received message the message is divided into three message or two messages or four according to the message size.

Now my question is how to solve this problem as i have to pay for 2,3 or 4 messages to my carrier.

that usually happens if you have irealsms installed and set it as defualt or if you used to have it installed and when you uninstalled it you didnt remove it as defualt. IF thats what happened just install it again remove it as defualt sms client and then mysms should be good again.

woot! upate out, havent tested all the new features, but i can say its much faster. one issue already thou, the theme i had doesn't apply anymore
