The fading of the dock that changed in 1.5 is much faster.

my need for summerboard is simple. scrolling. i prefer the black background that was native to springboard, and i like being able to change the original dock background by simply replacing the file: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/SBDockBG2.png
as noted in this thread, the new summerboard applies a gray line behind the icons in the dock. somehow summerboard is overriding the modified image that i am using for the dock, and modifying it has no effect. the grey line persists.
does anyone know where the summerboard files are installed?

Yea summerboard guys...hook us up with the last edition. the grey bar is killing us.....other then that it's off the chain.

there's a bug in mine for some reason when i upgraded from 1.5 to the latest whenever i hit the home button the whole screen is dark... it was a pain and i had to downgrade for 1.5 for the time being, anyone have this happen to them?

fixed the grey bar, but looks like the background is now dimmed a little bit again?????

i used ibrickr and use the app installer from there because it turns out springboard is outdated (lucky me) so i got it back that way..

I wish they can add option to turn dim on/off.
