25% battery loss over night on standby ideas???

Im losing around 25% of my battery overnight when my phone is locked and im trying to figure out what is draining my battery!!!

I would just reformat but thats not going to tell me what the cause is.

I am running a light winterboard theme with a weather and clock widget. Below is a screen shot of the programs running on my phone using terminal and tops command. I see 24 total programs with 1 running and 23 sleeping. The only thing running constantly is the springboard at 15.2% CPU usage and the list only shows 22 programs does anyone know how to scroll down further???

Here is a screen shot of my processes does anyone have any ideas on what the culprit might be??

P.S. my usage and standby times are the same so something is running!! and I dont have backgrounder installed

How often is your weather set to update? I have mine set at 55 minutes and I lose about 17% overnight.

It happens to me once in a while. I started a thread on this. To make a long story short, my intuition is that there is some springboard-related process that keeps running. In my case, this is triggered once in a while (one out of three or four times) after quitting Cydia (it took me many observations to be reasonably certain about it). Only fix: reboot, you kill the process. It's a drag, you need to keep checking your usage time and/or your battery level. It sucks.

When it happened to me I SSH and then run top (or ps -e) from my computer terminal, top is useless on the iPhone terminal, you can't see everything. I also looked into the syslog file. To no avail: I couldn't see any glaringly wrong thing. But Springboard always has unusually high process time, this is why I assume it is Springboard.

You may be right on that. But what's an iPhone without widgets? A museum with no paintings on the wall

The same thing happened to me last night. Before I went to sleep I charged my phone from 10% battery life to a little over 50%. Then it died soon after I woke up 6 hours later. This was the first time it died that quickly on me and hopefully it won't do that again.

You just ssh into your iphone from a terminal window. When you are logged in, you run commands in the terminal window. You can run top, ps -e, and so on
