I was looking around inside SBSettings and was reading the Fix User Dir Permissions and accidentally hit fix me instead of cancel....

Now my 3G doesn't work... Is there a quick fix for this or did i screw it up?

I am actually puzzled as to why it doesn't work (incidentally, what do you mean with that?) If your user dir permissions are fine, it shouldn't have changed them. If they are not, it should have fixed them.

You may need to SSH and look into your permissions and fix them if necessary.

Ut oh. I did the same thing. Everything seems to work except for the ipod. When i try to open ipod it crashes into safe mode? Why would this happen? How can i go about fixing this issue. Now im stuck at work with no tunes to listen to.

Does anyone have any sugestions on how to fix this or understand why it happened? HELP ME PLEASE!! Im going crazy without my music.

I'd immagine that i could ssh into the phone and fix the permissions that arn't allowing the ipod to start or causing it to crash? The problem is i'm not sure what folder the permissions for the ipod are located and what they should be set to, or what is default.

Update: Pandora does not work either.
I booted to safemode and they both work. What does this tell me?

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue. Any help would be much appricated.
