    Default Problems with winterboard

None of these themes are working for me no matter what I do. I jailbreaked my iPhone 3g with quickpwn. I have firmware ver: 2.1. I have downloaded winterboard through Cydia. I restarted the iPhone after intalling winterboard. I placed one of the sample themes's let's take: Stereo's Leopard 4.0 theme into /Library/Themes
I then went into winterboard and unchecked everything but Stereo's Leopard 4.0 theme. I restarted the iPhone and all i get when i look at the theme, is a black wallpaper with icons i can't see what a white text underneath each icon. Can anybody tell me why this is happening? I just applied the newest winterboard also.

    Thanks

    UPDATE:
If i download a theme using cydia I don't have a problem. Using that same Stereo's Leopard 4.0 Theme i downloaded from cydia, it works perfectly. It may be something I'm doing wrong.

/Library/themes or /private/var/stash/themes, either is good.

SSH into the Themes folder and compare a theme dl'd from Cydia to one you manually installed.

Go slowly and see if you see any difference between the two, try to see if your theme has the same format as the Cydia theme.

/library/themes is just a shortcut to it.

I just installed a couple themes via winterboard and now my iPhone is crashing into safe mode. The only way to stop it is to uninstall winterboard. Upon reinstalling it will again go into safe mode once I apply a theme. I should have come here earlier but Im tired of trying to uninstall and reinstall everything so I am restoring so I can start fresh and try again. Anyone else having problems like that with winterboard? This is the first time Ive ever had a problem with this app and Ive been using it since its launch
iRealSMS - your REAL native landscape SMS app on the iPhone
    PwnTunes - Sync, Save, Share...
PhotoAlbums+ - Take Control of your Camera Roll
More new and exciting apps to come!

Ok, post the downloaded theme here, and then one you're trying to upload yourself. I'll take a look and tell you the difference. I'm pretty sure I already know, I just want to make sure I'm correct before giving false advice.

They are symlinked to one another.
