Getting a app to work from another phone

I copy Tris from my old phone to my new updated 2.1 phone using winscp but don't see the icon on springboard. I place the app in Application, can anyone tell me the correct way of doing it, Thanks.

Just sync it with itunes. Otherwise, try rebooting your phone....it wouldnt show up till then.

Now it shows up after a couple reboot but now it doesn't work, I set permission to 0755 already. It opens up to the play screen then crashes. What else is wrong?

Well, its never a good idea to try and throw an app in the file structure like that, usually will end up with errors.

Why not just use Itunes and sync? Even though it was purchased from your old phone you can still sync it to a new one.

It was the free Tris not the one from App store, sorry for the confusion.

If its a "hacked" app....your on your own we cant discuss them....my suggestion, Google is your friend.

But there's more you have to do to get that app to work...I'll say that.
