Fringe and Gizmo5 : how to?

ok so i have a gizmo account and signed in on phone using fringe. i made a test call, heard my voice. what i am trying to accomplish is making free wifi calls and i cant seem to get it working. could someone shed some light please? is there extentions or something i am missing?

who here has got this to work with the newly released " VoIPover3g ", which tricks your phone into thinking it is on wifi, when really it is on 3g. ideally, you could make free calls all day long, no matter where you are at..

also, does anyone suggest another compilation of apps to get free wifi calls?

i am still unable to figure this out. anything would help.

Does this still work under 2.2? I installed both and opened a a Skype but Fring complains about not being on wifi.

i tried it out. there is a huge lag time and makes it annoying. yes it is free calls if you have voipover3g install and everything is set up. but again, such a lag that it makes it annoying to continue the phone call. people kept asking if i was still there and in the middle of them asking, they started to hear my response.
