swirly mms keeps closing

ok i installed this last night. 2day it open (last night it didn't) so i put in my apn telstra.internet then closed and open it and now its doing teh same thing again open gets into screen for like a second then closes what is wrong?

What version iPhone do you have?
1.1.3/4 usually have problems. If you run the following commands in term-vt100 or SSH into your phone, it should fix your problem.

cd /Applications
chmod +s SwirlyMMS.app/SwirlyMMS
chown root:wheel SwirlyMMS.app

Make sure you get the capitalization right. It's case sensitive

I did it, worked fine for me. But there is still bugs in the program, still crashes sometimes.
Yeah, you have to make sure you write it exactly as it appears... Every capital letter the same.

Are you new here gros21? Have you ever SSH into your iPhone? I'll write up a guide for you if you like?

Also if you install the 1.1.3 general fix and symbolic link maker found on installer under tweaks 1.1.3 and system, it should be able to fix the issue.

I have Swirly working the 1st timer ever today, and I was able to send a pic for the first time EVER through the app.....today!

The new version 0.3.2 works with 1.1.3/1.1.4 Just add their source:

You should only have to enter the password but if you enter it wrong it will then ask for the login.
The default login and pass are as follows:
Login: root
Password: alpine

When you type in the pass nothing will show up. Don't worry though, it's still entering. Just for security reasons...

You have to make sure you have "BSD Subsystems" and "SUID Lib Fix" installed through installer for Term-vt100 to work properly...

It worked fine in mine... I have the new version install and works without problems. Haven't tried out the new receive feature yet though...

a quicker fix i found was just to uninstall swirly mms and to install it from swirly mms official installer source

After you add these commands what do you do then? do you just hit the home button or is there anything you do to save the commands

Just hit the home button. When you type in each command it is automatically sent to the program.

So get out of Term and reset your iPhone. Then when your phone turns back on just open swirly mms and see if it worked...

If not, do the commands again.
