MMS o2 iphone 3g

hi, ive searched the forums and internet like mad,

i have a 2g iphone unlocked and mmw working fine,
my contract was up so i went to o2 and got thr 3g iphone 16gb

ive tried swirlmms but seems o2 need 2 activate mms on my account, i rang them up but they said they cannoy enable as iphone cannot do mms

please does any1 have a work around or a solution?

Best suggestion I can think of is either keep trying ringing o2 and see if you are lucky and get an operator will activate it, or if they keep saying that the iphone can't do MMS so there is no point try telling them you put the sim in a different phone for work because you want the 3g as your best phone and don't want to damage it at work, and as your other phone has MMS you would like to make use of it. I don't see how they can argue with that unless there is something in the iphone 3g that says the sim can only be used in an iphone.

I read somewhere that if you get someone at AT&T to switch your account info from iPhone to, let's say a blackerry, that this will somehow let you use swirllymms or something. Anyone know more info on this idea?

I heard that as well
