Apps

Okay, this may sound so nooby of me, but..
Let's start with the basics, I have an iPod Touch 1g, it's 2.1 firmware, it isn't jailbroken, and I have a ton of paid apps on it.
Let's say i'm tired of working long days to pay for my apps (i am.) and want to download them for free. What do I do (from step one to last step) (and assume i don't know anything about this process (i dont))
also, a guide to 2.1 jailbreaking? Thanks
(oh, and what is the risk with downloading app store apps? aka what are the chances that i/we/whatever will get in trouble with the authorities?)
LASTLY, since I had some horribly terrible experiences with 2.0.1 jailbreaks (constant bricks and constant getting-stuck-on-boot-screens), is that prominent in 2.1 jailbreaks?

No warez are allowed on this site. Search google for that kind of stuff.
Also, for the jailbreaking, I would recomend using quickpwn. There are a lot of tutorials out there for it so once again, just use google

step 1.connect iPhone to computer

Step 2.stop being cheap
Step 3. Buy your apps like normal people. Just bcuz you work hard all day doesn't mean you get free stuff, the poeple who made the apps worked hard to make them...

I see what you mean. Those free, $0.99 and $3.99 apps must be a real budget killer...
