ya. be careful of this app. i installed it, did you notice it installed something called mivtones as well? it looks like a store that sells you ringtones. if you try to remove mivtones it yanks out cylay with it (but you can remove cylay and it leaves mivtones in!)
be careful with this app. i threw both away and just hope they didn't leave anything sneaky around..

You should find it under the stock 'Settings' application just under the general settings but above your AppStore settings.
If you dont try a respring and have another look?

this works great for me. i had mivtones installed before( it is a video ringtone app and it works great for me too) i tried all the sms commands sent from my daughters phone and it backed up my iphone to google and everythig else works fine. this is a very cool program especially if i ever lose or some1 steals my iphone. i will definitely buy this when my 6 month trial is up.

No way I'm installing this thing with no description or info. Even with one, I'll let you die-hard bleeding testers check it out 1st. (hahaha)

One thing that i haven't seen mentioned is, if theoretically you have almost complete remote access of your iPhone, isn't it all being relayed through iFoneTec's servers?
it says it can store information on Google's servers as well, but how would we really know this... If so, wouldn't they technically be able to monitor any and everything you do on your phone while this program is running? I mean you are supposedly able to track your phone via GPS at anytime, recover SMS/phone logs, etc...
I mean, i love the idea of a lojack for your iPhone, but in all honesty privacy protection at times can be scary when a middle man is involved, and in this case i know absolutely nothing about iFoneTec to be able to install a program like this on my phone.

I had this same problem. I was using vista mobile theme and it was taking the spot in the settings were cylay settings should be. I disabled the theme and I was able to get cylay settings to appear and work. I also noticed that winterboard has some sort of cylay fix option, but this did not work for me I had to disable the vista mobile theme.
I am currently trying to see if cylay will work with my theme enabled even though I can't get to the options. I will get back to you on this issue.
Hope this fix works for you too.
I just found a pdf user manual for Cylay that may be helpful. http://www.cylay.com/CylayUserManual.pdf In the manual it says that you should install OpenSSH before installing Cylay.
I really don't like the website cylay.com I don't find it easy to use or very helpful. The manual is also full of typos. Probably written by a foreigner to the English language.
This may also help. I am still trying to get the program to work properly.Last edited by Codeman; 02-19-2009 at 08:54 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Dont buy this app! I downloaded the trial version and it was ok. Didn't really test it to a great extent but i thought in general it functioned ok. The customer service was great aswell, replying to me usually the same day with any technical queries.
I then bought the app! Boy, what a mistake. Hardly any of the VIP features work, and the ones that do, don't work properly. Everything is translated badly and the worst thing is....
The customer service haven't replied to a single email i've sent since registering!
What a waste of 20 dollars. When I said that I was 'king of forwards', you got to understand that I don't come up with this stuff. I just forward it along. You wouldn't arrest a guy who was just passing drugs from one guy to another?
