Live without it. Renaming Notes to Microsoft Word doesn't add anything to your phone

Yeah I was pissed also about this. I didn't even realize it until I had to re-jailbreak my iphone after upgrading it. Had I known I would have kept the files from before. I heard it was on Installer. I'm not sure if this is true or not and I can't check since I didn't bother putting installer on my phone.

There are A LOT of things that don't actually add value to your phone...such as themes. It just looks nicer.

If you have installer, add the source a27dev.com/installer/repo

It has the new version 2.0 of rename and it will rename appstore apps as well.

I just found it!

Cd you be kind enough to provide me a step-by-step to how to accomplish this...I'm an 82 year old trying to rename some icons on my jailbroke 3g...in Installer, I see a "rename(utilities) just below "power tool" and when I hit this, it takes me to a search box named "id.com.iptm.rename" but it just sits there...what exactly do I do with this??
pls email me at jbk6039@gmail.com...thx for your help.
