BSD subsystem
well what is BSD subsystem for.. And will i be able to delete it?..i know i need it for the dock app but will i need it for anything else?

It's pretty much a system of unix commands that (i think) allows you to delete/rename files. You need it for dock, probably because of the screen shot function. You will also need it if you want to be able to connect to your phone by SSH (in conjunction with OpenSSH)

All good comments so far... re: "will I be able to delete it?" No at least not through Installer app.
Several apps need a few of the unix commands that are installed with the BSD kit.White 3G

I am installing bsd on my iphone, and it takes forever, as if it freezes, am I supposed to let it do that? or what could be happening?

help, i cant find bsd subsystem on installer 4, i have file on computer any hints on what i can do?

yes, Use Cydia instead of Installer...
8Gig > 1.0 FW (dead spot on screen)
8Gig > 1.0.2 FW (broken vibrate after a while)
8Gig > 1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2(Jonny5 Still alive)
