BeeJive not allowing background

It seems the new update to Beejive wont allow background operation. When I enable background feature, then close Beejive and bring it back up, it reloads the program as if background was not enabled. Fring still operates in background. Just a FYI.

check your log files. On mine, it seems like Beejive crashes due to "Out of memory" or "socket errors" when running in background mode. It does work but the app crashes.

You should clarify if this is BeeJive for the 1X FW which was entirely browser based or 2x which is app based. Sounds simple enough to figure out, but have you seen some of the questions around here? I've learned to assume nothing.

i update beejive the other day and now when ever i open it, i have to keep on holding down the home button to enable background every time I open it. I think i'm gonna downgrade back to 1.0
