Status Notifier displays the icons on the lock screen in two locations, the status bar and the main screen (bigger icons, of course.) Does the Notifier from BigBoss display the icons on the lockscreen? If yes, in which locations?

My thoughts, icons are ugly but it's much more functional. I happily uninstalled Status Bar Notifier. It had better icons but it was way too slow.

true, at a glance you could see exactly what you missed with the big lockscreen icons. lets just hope that notifier tries something like that in the future.

Am I the only one that isn't seeing a VMail notifier?
I'm on a legit plan with VVM, so I wonder if that's why.
I see mine on my lock screen in the taskbar (just like the original taskbar-notifier). It's not big icons, though but some people may not want to change their lock screen with Winterboard (like me) and were used to the taskbar only setup.Last edited by GenesisDH; 10-03-2008 at 03:33 PM.

To use the Status Bar Notifier icons install both Status Bar Notifier and Big Boss's Notifier and go to:
/Library/Themes/StatusNotifier Replacement.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard
Change the file names of the PNGs so they match the ones used by Notifier (For voicemail I used a copy of SMS for now):
Default_NCALL.png
Default_NMAIL1.png
Default_NSMS.png
Default_NVMAIL.png
FSO_NCALL.png
FSO_NMAIL1.png
FSO_NSMS.png
FSO_NVMAIL.png
Turn on the "StatusNotifier Replacement" theme in winterboard.
Done! You can now uninstall the Status Notifier as the theme is listed separately in Cydia. Please note though that any updates to the theme in Cydia will wipe your changes so make a copy of the theme with a name of your choice then delete the original theme using Cydia.

try uninstalling BigBoss's Sources in Cydia's Manage then Packages Installed.
restart Cydia then re-install BigBoss's Sources. That seemed to do the trick. I had to do the same when trying to install Backgrounder.
Hope this helps, if it does... Be a pal and hit that thanks button : )8Gig > 1.0 FW (dead spot on screen)
8Gig > 1.0.2 FW (broken vibrate after a while)

I just updated Notifier. I didn't see any release notes for the update. Anyway, now when I have unread mail my iphone chimes every goddamn 20 seconds or so. What happened?
