you can ssh into your phone and apply this "blank.app" to your applications folder.
for the app (actually ANY app applied by ssh) to show up, try d/l'ing something from cydia after you have installed the app and it will appear after cydia does a springboard reboot

heres the link for the blank app http://www.modmyi.com/forums/native-...cond-life.html(this will work on all FW)

if this helps... don't forget to hit that thanks button
8Gig > 1.0 FW (dead spot on screen)
    8Gig > 1.0.2 FW (broken vibrate after a while)
    8Gig > 1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2(Jonny5 Still alive)

Or you can do it the easy way and install the Steffwiz's repo in Cydia and have access to download up to 20 or so blank apps.

In Cydia click the More Package Sources on the opening screen and then scroll down and install Steffwiz. There are multile options to download one or a bunch of blanks.

Once you have them installed you hold down an icon on your screen as if you were going to move them around and they will become visible to work with

They are just placeholders. They have a completely transparent icon, no title, and don't do anything. Some people like to put icons around certain wallpapers and such, so these are for that. Also, for stacks, some people like to put a blank app in the corner, so not to lose an app.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

    Default cannot find blank apps

what's up all, I'm having a problem that I don't quite understand. I installed the steffwiz source but cannot find the app to install multiple blank icons. I see the app called "blank app" but that only installs one. Multiple people have said that there are apps that allow you to install 5, 10 or 20 blank apps but for the life of me I cannot find them. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

After you add the repo, under Sections, there is a Folder called "Blanks". In there there are 7 apps, "Blank 1, Blank 2, Blank 3, Blank 4, Install 5, Install 10, Install 20".

I've added the source and see that "Blank" app, but there is no other options for more Blank apps. I would love to have more than one.

Any help would be very appreciated!!!

When I open up Cydia I see a folder called "Blanks". Make sure you're updated.

Thanks a bunch. I manually added the source and it didin't come up. So I added the source via the more sources and it showed up.

    Thanks again.

I just installed 10 and by clicking on one it actually opens up a blank web page, so just be careful when thumbing through your phone as this may get annoying.
