Finder on 2.1 not saving settings

Anyone else have this problem? Finder on my iPhone 3g 2.1 won't save settings. Every time I close it and reopen I have to reselect system file access, appearance settings etc

It's been said several times, simply set the permissions to 777

Yeah, set permissions in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.MobileFinder.plist to 777.

And never close Finder with the home button, it'll revert permissions to default. Always use Settings | Close Finder Completely.

Really? The only way I can get Finder to lose its settings after changing permissions is to close it with the home button.

E-mail seems to send but loses any attachments
