winterboard showing down phone?

Ive installed winterboard on 2.1 and every thing now seems slower to load up. Safari takes around 15 seconds before it starts to load a page, mail app take 10 seconds to start to show mail other apps also take a few more seconds to load, and they crash (run our of memory) more often. Any one else seeing this? Im trying to track down if its winterboard, or something else (i also have scrobble running the background)

I definitely saw the same behavior on my phone. My wife's phone (non-jailbroken) was much zippier than mine. I shut off my theme and things got much faster. I then created a very minimal theme to just replace a couple icons and the dock and it seems to be doing well still. I think it's a memory issue. With a large theme, I think WinterBoard loads a lot of the images into memory and eats up space. I've also noticed with IntelliScreen running, I run out memory quickly, but that's a different story. ;-)
